It's holiday time!
Hi everyone,
I missed all of you today on the last day of Term 2 as I was sick and had to rest at home. I am sure you did not give the relief teacher a hard time, right?
Remember to complete your holiday homework:
- English: Type out a composition and email it to me. It can be a new piece of composition that is not from your composition file.
- Maths: Complete the 3A Part 2 workbook. Remember to do your corrections.
- Science: Take the time to admire nature around you, get curious about things and find out more information on your own. After all, you are so busy during term time so the holidays is the best time for you to go outdoors, breathe in fresh air, observe people, animals, plants or buildings around you and search more information about them.
Spend your holidays wisely. Take a break and relax. You can also learn something new by going for camps and courses or picking up a new sport/hobby. Do your bid for charity - you have been given donation booklets which you can take the time during the holidays to ask your relatives and friends for some kind donations. Remember to return all booklets and money in Term 3 Week 1, even if you still have tickets that are unsold. You can also spend some time to revise the topics that have been taught in Semester 1 as they will be tested in the SA2 exams.
For those who are unable to take a break outdoors, don't be disheartened. I will post up links during the holidays for you to visit educational websites to revise the concepts you have learnt in Maths thus far.
To revise on the topic of numbers to 10 000, click on the following link: http://www.numbernut.com/basic/activities/number_4bar_1-10000.shtml
