Chinese New Year celebrations

Hi everyone,

Here are some reminders for the students for tomorrow's Chinese New Year celebrations.

• Wear your home clothes. You are encouraged to wear Chinese traditional costumes.
• There is Silent Reading in the morning so please bring a story book.
• You will have lessons until 10.45am. That will be Maths and English lessons with me. Remember to bring your Maths textbook and pencil case.
• Bring colour pencils for the Chinese New Year activities.
• There is no Fitness Friday tomorrow.

Return of English Unit 1 and Maths Workbook Chapter 1

Hi all,

I have given students the English learning sheets for Unit 1: A kitten for the king to bring home today. Please ensure that your child does the corrections and sign on the cover page.

I also gave them the Maths workbook to bring home today as we have completed Chapter 1: Numbers to 10 000. Please sign on the first page of the unit.

Please bring the English learning sheets and Maths workbook back to school tomorrow.

Buddy Leaders Programme

Hi everyone,

Last week, class 3A students underwent the Buddy Leaders Programme. The students had a chance to teach the younger Pri 1A students all about the different places in the school as well as the proper way to buy and eat food in the canteen. It helped our 3A students to develop their sense of responsibility towards others and show that they cared for the school community as a whole. I hope that this spirit of helping and caring will continue long after the Buddy Leaders Programme is over.

Donation of red packets

Hi all,
